We provide antenatal education for first time dads to be. We talk about pregnancy, birth and early fatherhood and help you transform your knowledge and confidence.

We are on a mission to get dads more engaged during the perinatal period so they are better able to support themselves and their families.

Many men go into childbirth feeling nervous, anxious, and confused. Alternatively, some have a false sense of confidence that isn’t based on true readiness.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. You don’t have to feel overwhelmed. Or to think that you’re not doing enough.

Having the right tools to understand and support your partner (and baby!) in pregnancy, labour, and in the first few months, will give you the confidence to be the best dad you can be.

What The Experts Are Saying

Dr Vijay Roach

Former President, Royal AUS/NZ College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists

"There isn't another program like this, there are many classes, many bits of material, but nothing draws it all together for fathers. It's specific, it's targeted, it's needed for men who I think we've left out of the story for too long and we wan't to bring them back in. The sensible thing to do is to prepare and having the opportunity to do that is provided through this course"

Associate Professor Alka Kothari

Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

"It is absolutely amazing work you are doing in this space Steven Kennedy . As an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, I appreciate the incredible value of having partners prepared to support the mums and the new baby. I am glad to contribute to this important journey towards involved and supported fatherhood."

Mary Steen

Professor of Midwifery

"It is vitally important to involve and prepare an expectant father to enable him to then support his partner during pregnancy, childbirth and following birth. Often dads-to-be receive information second-hand and some are too afraid to ask for help. There is an urgent need here in Australia and around the world to provide a resource that is specifically designed for these guys to access. The Birthing Dads Program meets this deficit and is a valuable, user-friendly resource."

Lisa Scicluna

Midwife and Doula

"Birthing Dads is an online course designed by men for men. We know with birth education a lot of it is focused on the mum and dads tend to get quite neglected. This is a way male partners can step away and do a course, and come back to the birthing mum and say "guess what i learnt" and now I feel more confident. The course is about men support supporting their partner through pregnancy, birth and afterwards."
